These past two months have been very busy. In between my regular nanny hours, I have been putting in many hours in the studio. The second commissioned painting from this past winter is final complete! Alongside that, I have been hustling to finish brand new works inspired by last fall's trip to Arizona and Utah. There are less than two weeks left until I will be side-by-side with other local artists at the Beverly Arts Festival (June 20, 10 am to 4 pm). With this in mind, I am ambitiously planning to have another HANDFUL of small still-life paintings that I hope will find themselves in the homes of arts fest attendees that day. Since I know you will not be missing out on this summer-in-the-North-Shore-kick-off-event, please be sure to stop by my tent--after you've checked out the new Atomic Cafe and collected all of your newly found, locally created treasures, of course! Meanwhile, here is a peek at one of the paintings (the second commissioned portrait) that will be shown on Saturday June 20th, side-by-side with the original photograph. Seen right: "Untitled." Oil on canvas. 16" X 12", 2015.
